What to do for suspected & confirmed cases of Covid-19

Itchyrobot Lgoo

If your child presents symptoms of COVID-19 please keep them off school and arrange a PCR test.

If children are unwilling or unable to take a PCR they should remain absent for 10 days from the start of their symptoms.

Parents need to contact school immediately.

Email is the best form of correspondence as our office may be short staffed

Please email enquiries@nunthorpeprimary.org.uk with the name and year group, details of when symptoms first started and dates of PCR or LFD tests.

If you need to share information with staff please email teachers and be patient. If your communication is urgent please call the school office on 01642 315508.

We will then follow the current school procedure of gathering background information, risk assessing all potential contacts and advising accordingly.

Thank you for your support

Close Contacts

From 14 December 2021, young people aged between 5 and 18 years and 6 months identified as a contact of someone with COVID-19 are strongly advised to take a LFD test every day for 7 days and continue to attend their setting as normal, unless they have a positive test result. If a positive result is received you should follow the link below:
