Dear Parents and Carers

I am delighted to inform you that Mr Salter has been appointed as Headteacher Designate for Nunthorpe Primary Academy.

Over the coming months, Mr Salter will continue to work closely with Mrs O’Gara to ensure a smooth and effective transition. This collaborative approach will be supported by the Trust and the continuity and stability that it will provide, will ensure that Nunthorpe Primary Academy continues to excel.

Mr Salter will formally commence his role as Headteacher in September 2026, and we are confident that his leadership will build on the strong foundations he, Mrs O’Gara and the other staff and Governors have built at Nunthorpe.
