Wellbeing

At Nunthorpe Primary we place wellbeing- both mental and physical- at the heart of everything we do for everyone associated with our school.

Top tips to look after your mental health

2.       Be active (mens sana in corpore sano– a healthy mind in a healthy body)

3.       Eat a balanced diet (you are what you eat)

4.       Help other people

5.       Connect with other people (in person is better than virtually)

6.       Learn something new

7.       Do things that you enjoy

8.       Do something creative

Useful Websites

https://www.youngminds.org.uk/ –  They have pages for both children and parents/carers. This website provides information on a range of topics, and also provides information relating to self-care and wellbeing. The parent pages provide helpful advice on how to approach difficult conversations, and how to support your child.
